Tour of Florida and Alabama aviation museums, airports, and Sun 'n Fun, April 2024 |

Starting at Pensacola, our tour began by visiting the Airbus plant at "Mobile AeroPlex at Brookley", in Mobile, Alabama, to watch A220s and A320 series being assembled. There's a fascinating visitor centre there too, A great visit, but no photography at all was allowed. Moving on, we called at several museums, most of which I've previously visited, plus some collections and airfields that were new to me. We finished with three days at the Sun 'n Fun Expo, which was of course wonderful. The weather was fine, except for a wet few hours during the airshow, during which we popped down the road to visit Fantasy of Flight, which is conveniently all indoors.
