| A layover at SeaTac on our return flight from Anchorage to Heathrow on 16th May. A fairly restricted view from the South Satellite terminal didn't help. The new International Arrivals Facility (IAF) Pedestrian Walkway links the South Satellite terminal to a new customs area in the main terminal. At 780 feet wide, the bridge is the world's longest over a taxiway, taking the title from Gatwick (650 ft). It is 85 feet above the ground, the escalators are each 191 ft long, and there is a 240 ft moving walkway on the centre span. It opened later in 2022. |
