The Pitcairn Collection, Trenton-Robbinsville Airport, New Jersey

Steve Pitcairn was the son of Harold Pitcairn, designer of the Mailwing series, and developer of autogiros in the USA. His collection was housed here, and the aircraft are restored and maintained by Posey Brothers, who gave us a very friendly welcome. The only surviving Pitcairn autogiro is now with the EAA at Oshkosh, but a flying replica is under construction at Robbinsville.
