Planes of Fame Air Museum, Chino Airport

Ed Maloney started collecting aviation stuff after WW2, and his collection evolved into what is now one of the world's most famous aviation museums. Famous warbird pilot Steve Hinton is its president.

There are many rare or unique planes here, but unfortunately the hangars are really crammed, with the aircraft interlocked and often impossible to photograph without other things getting in the way.

A couple of hangars were almost empty, being home to aircraft that were out on the flight line for the next day's airshow, so photos of them are on my Chino Airshow page, and some appear on both pages. We visited the museum on 3rd May.
