The USA's second-biggest aviation gathering after EAA AirVenture, this year's show went really well, with a high attendance and plenty of interesting aircraft and activities. The Thursday afternoon airshow was rained aind winded off, so Thursday wristbands and tickets were honoured the next day, which left most people happy.
This was my second Sun 'n Fun, my first being in 2016. Highlights for me this year were the Constellation, the Polaris Ghost Squadron, and photographing the Thunderbirds against a blue sky, at last. And I'd never even heard of a Widget before, but one appeared and got photographed!
Lowlight was that I paid for the 'Preferred seating' area, one of the advantages of which turned out to be the view of the lovely chain-link fence between us and the runway and main taxiway. I liked it so much that I've included it in a few of these photos. Hope you like it too!
We spent three days here, from the 11th to the 13th April, so there are lots of photos (around 700), divided into 5 pages sorted by aircraft type.
