Russian Central Air Force Museum, Monino

Despite recent rumours of closure, this fine museum has an active restoration program. We were given access to a new Great Patriotic War hangar which was about to open, with all aircraft recently restored. Unfortunately, many aircraft are tucked away behind others, and many are in urgent need of protection from the elements, but there are many unique aircraft here, and it's well worth a visit. I've split the photos into two pages, sorted by aircraft type. |
